What’s happening movie buffs and readers!! I’m happy to announce that I’ll be starting a new segment where I pit a film against its remake in a battle style narrative.

I wanted to do something fun and creative since coronavirus has shut down early movie screenings in theaters which means a significant decrease in Screenings With Migs reviews. **Tear** I’ve had opportunities to screen movies online but I haven’t taken any of those opportunities yet…..

The horror genre has produced plenty of remakes and I’ve been exploring a lot of films from that genre at home since theaters were closed for the past 6 months. My first VS will most likely be The Crazies. I recently bought a copy of the original from 1973 so that will duel it out with the remake from 2010. I’ll be featuring other genres as well. Upcoming battles will include The Narrow Margin, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Point Break, Captain America, and The Night Of The Living Dead. That’s just naming a few.
