The Cleveland Browns have fired head coach Hue Jackson.
The Cleveland Browns are the first NFL team to make a head coaching change in 2018 after parting ways with Hue Jackson.
The Browns once-again reshaped their roster during the offseason, as well as havning the first overall pick in the draft at quarterback, in Baker Mayfield. However, they still sit at a disappointing, yet not surprising 2-5-1 record.
ESPN first reported the news Monday, one day after a 33-18 drubbing by the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh. Jackson posted a 3-36-1 record as head coach in Cleveland.
Both of Cleveland’s coordinators, Todd Haley on offense and Gregg Williams on defense, have head coaching experience. One of them will likely take over as interim head coach.
