“Bullied” Ex NFL player Jonathan Martin detained By Police After Posting Threatening Message

Ex NFL Player Jonathan Martin posted on Instagram a threatening message that caused his former high school, Harvard-Westlake High, to shut down for a day.

In the message Martin said “When you’re a bully victim & a coward, your options are suicide or revenge,” in the post he used the hashtags #HarvardWestlake and #Miami Dolphins. He also tagged Dolphins center Mike Pouncey and Bills guard Richie Incognito, who he had run ins with during his time in Miami.

Martin was drafted by the Miami Dolphins and in 2013, he accused then-Dolphins teammate Richie Incognito of bullying, leading to Incognito’s suspension.  Incognito denied any bullying, and after investigation it was found that Martin may not have been as innocent as he portrayed himself to be.  Martin eventually retired and Incognito ended up with the Bills after sitting out for one year.

Martin’s post came less than one week after 17 people including children were killed during a Florida school shooting of which we are all aware by now. There is no doubt in my mind that this man has issues and is yearning for attention, I hope somehow he gets the help he needs.
