Colin Kaepernick has not landed an NFL job, but he has secured a book deal work $1 million.
As first reported by the New York Post, free agent NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has agreed to a book deal with Random House, worth more than $1 million.
Kaepernick has been previously in talks with publishers regarding his book project. It not yet clear what the topic or format of the book will be.
Kapernick has been working towards donating $1 million to numerous causes over the past year, so the funds generated from the book week undoubtedly help replenish his personal bank account, especially since there’s no foreseeable future of an NFL paycheck coming.
Kudos to Kaepernick and we’re sure he has plenty that people, if they’re open-minded and honest, would like to read about.
