Who Made The 2017 Forbes Highest Paid Athletes List?

Check out the list to see if your favorite sports star made the cut this past year.

The 2017 list for the highest paid athletes is out. The earnings below are from June 2016 through June 2017. They include salaries, bonuses, prize money, endorsements, licensing and appearance fees. Soccer great Cristiano Ronaldo comes in at number 1, with basketball great Lebron James coming in at number 2. Of course boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. should be on top of this list. But his fight with Conor McGregor took place in August 2017 two months after this list was put together. His earnings for that one fight should have exceeded $300 million dollars, dwarfing the earnings of anyone on this list for the year. Check out the Top 20 on the list below.
