The 2018 NFL Draft will be held at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The say everything’s bigger in Texas. Jerry Jones is sure to prove that as accurate now that his stadium will host the draft. The 2018 NFL Draft is headed to the Lone Star State.
NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, has announced that Jones and the Dallas Cowboys be the will hosts of the 2018 NFL Draft at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. This will mark the first time that the draft will be held inside an NFL stadium. The draft will take place April 26-28 of next year.
The NFL has taken the draft on the road over the past three years, moving it to Philadelphia in 2017, and Chicago in both 2015 and 2016.
The 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia marked the first time in which a hosting city held the event outside. The result was an abundant success, setting attendance records for the 3-day event.
“Philadelphia raised the bar by taking the Draft to another level, and this new opportunity in Dallas will enable us to continue the event’s evolution and grow it even further,” Goodell stated in a release. “We are grateful to the Dallas Cowboys, the cities of Arlington, Dallas, and Frisco, and the Dallas Sports Commission for their leadership in turning this vision into reality.”
Now that the 2018 version is moving to Jerry World, expect to witness an even grander show to up the ante…as the Dallas – Philly rivalry doesn’t is not restricted to the football field.
