Aaron Hernandez Suffered From “severe” CTE, According To His Lawyer

According to an attorney for Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriot, suffered from a “severe” case of CTE (degenerative brain disease).

aaron1Hernandez was serving life in prison until he committed suicide at the age of 27.  The autopsy indicated that he had a disease common in football players called chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

Hernandez, like Dave Duerson and Junior Seau, deliberately took their own lives.

 

Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, has filed a lawsuit on behalf of their daughter against the Patriots and the NFL.
