Comedic Legend Dick Gregory has passed away after being hospitalized for a week with a severe bacterial infection.
Gregory’s political style of comedy made him a fan favorite in the 1960’s and his appeal stood the test of time as he made appearances on the breakfast club with Charlemagne the God and various other podcasts right up until his death. He frequently spoke of conspiracy theories insisting that the government was behind the crack cocaine epidemic, the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the murders of President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., John Lennon, and the plane crashes of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Ron Brown.
Whether you believed him or not his energy was electric and he never held back. Gregory leaves behind a wife who he married in 1959 and 10 children who have all grown up to become successful members of society.
