A mural to honor Hip Hop legend Prodigy has been completed in Queensbridge.
A sprawling likeness of Prodigy just went up in Queensbridge thanks to a mural created by two artists.
The mural of the late Mobb Deep member, which is fittingly placed on the wall of a building across the street from the Queensbridge Housing Projects where P grew up, was done by artists Jeff Henriquez and Eli “Eli Eos” Lazare.
Lazare was the same artist who created the Nas mural, also located in Queensbridge.
The artists touched on the impact Prodigy had on the Hip Hop world.
“His deep and meaningful lyrics inspired and influenced many young rappers and followers,” they said.
