Long Live Hip Hop!

Appreciation for our beloved Hip Hop continues to manifest in countless ways.

Over the last 25 years hip hop has climbed to monumental heights. In her early years she was dubbed by main stream America as a phase, something that would decline in due time. Needless to say, it’s bigger than ever.

From rhyming, to rapping, to storytelling, to gangster rap, to crunk, to trap music, to now what we call mumble rap. They all will have a place in history.

WSB-TV in Atlanta has taken the acceptance of hip hop to the unthinkable, the daily news. Fred Blankenship and Mark Arum of this news crew have paid homage to three rap icons on air live for the entire “A” to see. I can honestly say Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., and Prodigy were all honored in style, as only the most creative news crew I’ve ever witnessed could do it. Long live Hip Hop..!!!
